Education and Work Experience
Prof. Guo is an internationally renowned radar remote sensing scientist who have made systematic achievements in radar remote sensing information mechanism, multi-mode remote sensing information surface feature recognition method, and spatial information frontier technology research. He systematically revealed the interaction mechanism between radar electromagnetic waves and typical surface features, established the geometric scattering model of vegetation-less sand dunes, and proposed to develop the "band, amplitude, polarization, phase" electromagnetic wave "resources" theories. He also brought up the multi-band and multi-platform remote sensing information processing and identification method, and presided over the development of the "Digital Earth Prototype System".
